Young Progressives Party Raises Alarm Over Destruction of Campaign Billboards in Ekiti

The Young Progressives Party in Ekiti state has raised alarm over the activities of hoodlums destroying campaign billboards of the party’s candidate in the June 18,2022 gubernatorial elections.
The chairman of the party in Ekiti state, Mr. Owoola Daramola said it becomes important to call the attention of relevant stakeholders and law enforcement agents to the issue.
He said “Politicians are afraid of the popularity of our gubernatorial candidate Debo Ranti Ajayi, they are terrified of the Ekiti development blueprint of our party and they have resorted to crude means to intimidate us”
Owoola assured residents of the state the party will not be intimidated in its quest to provide quality leadership for residents of Ekiti state.
He also advised youths to desist from Political thuggery and all forms of violence before, during and after the gubernatorial elections.
