CHILDREN’S DAY: FIRST OTAKIKPO MIDSTREAM LIMITED EXPRESSES HOPE OF BRIGHTER FUTURE
The Management of First Otakikpo Midstream Limited has felicitated Nigerian children, especially those from its host communities on the occasion of the 2026 Children’s Day celebrations.
First Otakikpo Midstream Limited operates a 12-million standard cubic feet per day (mmscfd) modular LPG extraction plant, located in Ikuru town Andoni Local Government Area of Rivers State, South-South Nigeria.
In a post made public on its social media handles, the Managing Director, Barrister Olusegun Ilori stated that the company has fashioned the interest of children of its host communities into its corporate social responsibilities.
This, he said also aligns with the 2026 theme which is “Listen to the Future.” as It emphasizes the importance of upholding child rights, listening to children’s voices, and including their priorities in global actions.
The Managing Director assured that structures and processes have been put in place to impart positively on the lives of children in the area.
Barrister Ilori expressed the hope that platforms would continue to be created to compliment the efforts of the government in making the country safe and secure for children and the populace in general.
