CHRIST’S SCHOOL ADO-EKITI ’88 SET HAILS BAYO ADEOYA’S ELEVATION AS DEPUTY COMMISSIONER OF POLICE
The Nigeria Police Force has promoted Adebayo Adeoya to the rank of Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) in recognition of his years of dedicated, professional, and exemplary service to the Force and the nation.
The Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG), Zone 17 Headquarters, Akure, Ajani Musibau Omolabi, psc(+), officially decorated DCP Adebayo Adeoya Psc( +) with his new rank, alongside the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Operations), Zone 17, DCP Adeola Adedoyin Musibau (mni)
DCP Adeoya Adebayo psc (+), was officially decorated with his new rank on Tuesday during a ceremony held at the Zone 17 Headquarters of the Nigeria Police Force in Akure, Ondo State, in the presence of senior police officers, family members, friends, and well-wishers.
The promotion forms part of the Nigeria Police Force’s commitment to rewarding excellence, integrity, discipline, professionalism, and exceptional performance among its officers.
Until his elevation, DCP Adeoya served as the Area Commander of Ore Area Command in Ondo State, where he earned commendation for his commitment to intelligence-led policing, crime prevention, public safety, and effective community engagement. Throughout his policing career, he has built a reputation as a disciplined, courageous, and result-oriented officer dedicated to the protection of lives and property and the enforcement of the law.
Reacting to the promotion, ’88 set of Christ’s School Ado-Ekiti congratulated the newly promoted senior police officer, describing his elevation as a fitting reward for years of hard work, commitment, and distinguished service.
In a statement, the group said DCP Adeoya has consistently demonstrated exceptional professionalism, integrity, courage, and leadership in every responsibility entrusted to him, making him deserving of the honour bestowed on him by the Nigeria Police Force.
