Ekiti 2026: Biodun Omoleye Congratulates Governor Oyebanji On Federal High Court Victory
Hon. Biodun Omoleye, Member of the Federal House of Representatives representing Ekiti Central Federal Constituency II (Ijero, Ekiti West, and Efon), has extended his warm congratulations to the Governor of Ekiti State, His Excellency Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, following his victory at the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja.
The court ruling, which affirmed Governor Oyebanji as the duly recognized governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), is widely regarded as a significant milestone ahead of the forthcoming gubernatorial election in Ekiti State.
In a statement released on Thursday, April 16, Hon. Omoleye described the judgment as a triumph of justice, due process, and the rule of law. He noted that the court’s decision not only reinforces the credibility of the judicial system but also provides clarity and stability within the party as preparations intensify for the election.
“This well-deserved victory is a testament to the strength of our democratic institutions and the integrity of our legal system. It further confirms Governor Oyebanji’s legitimate candidacy and the confidence reposed in him by the leadership and members of our great party,” Hon. Omoleye stated.

Hon. Omoleye also called on members of the APC and the general public to remain united and focused as the state approaches the gubernatorial election.
