ONDO AG KAYODE AJULO HAILS REAPPOINTMENT OF FASORANTI AS SSG

The Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice of Ondo State, Dr. Olukayode Ajulo, SAN, OON, has warmly welcomed the reappointment of Dr. Taiwo Fasoranti as Secretary to the State Government (SSG) by Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, describing the decision as a well-deserved vote of confidence in an accomplished public servant whose dedication and professionalism have significantly contributed to the smooth administration of the State.
Dr. Ajulo made this known in a statement issued in Akure on Tuesday following the announcement of Dr. Fasoranti’s reappointment by Governor Aiyedatiwa. According to the AG, the Governor’s decision reflects the administration’s commitment to competence, continuity, and effective governance.
Describing the SSG as a fine gentleman and an administrator par excellence, Dr. Ajulo said Dr. Fasoranti possesses an exceptional understanding of the principles of good governance and the responsibilities of public office. He noted that throughout his tenure, the SSG has demonstrated uncommon diligence, attention to detail, and a deep commitment to ensuring that government policies and decisions are subjected to the necessary administrative, legal, and constitutional scrutiny before implementation for the overall benefit of Ondo State.
“Dr. Taiwo Fasoranti is one of the finest administrators in government today. He is meticulous, diligent, and deeply committed to the success of Governor Aiyedatiwa administration. Virtually no major government document passes through his office without receiving the necessary administrative, legal, and constitutional review required to ensure that government actions are firmly rooted in due process and the rule of law.” Dr. Ajulo stated.
The AG added that the reappointment of Dr. Fasoranti would not only further strengthen Governor Aiyedatiwa’s cabinet but would also enhance public confidence in the administration’s determination to place merit, experience, and competence at the centre of governance.
According to him, the decision also reflects the confidence reposed in the SSG by members of the State Executive Council who have worked closely with him over the years and witnessed firsthand his dedication to duty and leadership qualities.
“I believe I can take the constitutional liberty to speak on behalf of members of the State Executive Council when I say that Dr. Taiwo Fasoranti enjoys the confidence, respect, and admiration of his colleagues in government. Dr. Ajulo also commended Governor Aiyedatiwa for his leadership, foresight, and ability to identify and retain competent hands in critical positions of government. He said the Governor has continued to demonstrate a clear commitment to building strong institutions and assembling a team capable of delivering sustainable development across all sectors of the state.
The Attorney General expressed confidence that the renewed partnership between Governor Aiyedatiwa and Dr. Fasoranti would further accelerate the administration’s developmental agenda and strengthen efforts aimed at improving the welfare and prosperity of the people of Ondo State.
