ONDO CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIA TO HOLD PRAYER SUMMIT TO COMMEMORATE NATION’S 66TH INDEPENDENCE ANNIVERSARY
The Christian Association of Nigeria in Ondo State is to embark on a one-day prayer summit to mark the 66th independence anniversary of Nigeria.
The programme themed “When Zion Travails – Birthing A New Nigeria is to hold at St. David’s Cathedral, Ijomu Quarters in the state capital.
According to a programme of events made public, the prayer summit is aimed at praying for improved socio-economic and political development of the country.
The summit is to have in attendance Bishop of Ondo Catholic Diocese, Most Revd. Jude Arogundade who also doubles as the Chairman of ‘Elders at the Gate’.
Also to be in attendance is the Chairman of Christian Association of Nigeria in the state, Revd. Fr. Anslem Ologunwa.
The statement equally notes that the Chairman of the state Christian Welfare Board, Pastor Peter Abimbola would work with relevant stakeholders to ensure a hitch-free event.
The Ondo State Independence Day and Prayer Summit is part of the activities out in place to attract the blessings of God on individuals as well as the state in general in terms of peace, God’s protection and socio-economic development.
