ONDO HOLDS OCTOBER SANITATION EXERCISE WITH RESTRICTION OF MOVEMENT
The October edition of Enviromental Sanitation exercise comes up across Ondo State on Saturday, 31st October, 2026
The Chairman, Ondo State Waste Management Authority, Mrs Yinka Alabi, in a statement Issued by the General Manager, Ondo State Waste Management Authority, Mr Adekunle Olajumbu, said the Exercise would hold across the 18 local governments of Ondo State.
The statement said that there would be restrictions of human and vehicular movement between the hour of 7 and 10 in the morning.
Mrs Alabi urged residents to participate actively by using the period to clear their environment.
She said the present administation in Ondo State under the leadership of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa is poised to make Ondo State the most clean and conducive state in the country.
Mrs Alabi warned that anyone caught violating the environmetal law would be arrested and charge to court.
