OWO/OSE REPS MEMBER, TIMEHIN ADELEGBE FELICITATES MUSLIM FAITHFUL ON EID-EL ADHA
The member representing Owo/Ose Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Otunba Timehin Adelegbe has felicitated Muslim faithful in the constituency and the state in general on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el Adha celebrations.
In a statement made public by the Head of his Media team, Hon. Olaniyi Eni-Olotu, the federal lawmaker urged the faithful to imbibe the spirit of sacrifice and obedience as demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim.
Otunba Adelegbe also charged the celebrants to keep praying for unity, peace and progress of the country, expressing hope that the insecurity challenges being witnessed would soon become a thing of the past.
The lawmaker emphasized that the demonstration offers an important reminder of the values of faith, selflessness, and compassion.
According to him, the Eid-el Adha teaches faithful that true greatness lies in sacrifice and submission to superior authority.
Otunba Adelegbe urged faithful to show kindness to their neighbors, support the vulnerable, and put the collective good above personal interest.
The federal lawmaker appreciated the Muslim community in Owo/Ose Federal Constituency for their contributions to peaceful coexistence and community development in the area.
