Whoopi Goldberg slammed over Holocaust comments

The Daily Telegraph’s Tim Blair says “I’m beginning, for the first time in my life, to question Whoopi Goldberg’s historical awareness”.
Whoopi Goldberg recently said the Holocaust is “not about race” on the US talk show The View.
Ms Goldberg, who has since apologised, made the comments during an on-air discussion about a US school board’s decision to ban Maus, a Pulitzer prize-winning graphic novel about the experiences of a Holocaust survivor.
Mr Blair told Sky News Australia “she stands corrected on something that 99 per cent of humanity has known since 1945”.
