A former Special Assistant to Secretary to Ondo State Government, Mr. Fred Ojo has again emphasized that the incumbent Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa remains the best alternative to continue to steer the ship of the Sunshine State.
The Ondo City-born political leader and businessman who was speaking with newsmen in Akure said the fact that the governor was part of the various plans being carried out by the immediate past helmsman gives confidence in achieving a result-oriented continuity.
Ojo said having been part of the industrial revolution that has provided jobs for thousands of citizens of the state should encourage residents that more of such would be put in place.
The APC stalwart expressed the hope that the Ore Industrial Hub would be replicated in the northern and central senatorial district of the state, stressing the role the intervention would play in reducing poverty and creating jobs for the teeming unemployed across the state..
In his words, “let us take a look at the economic implications of the Ore Industrial Hub and how it has helped the economy of our dear state, then we will agree that we should support a man who was part of that vision”.
“Late Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu tried his best to ensure that the southern part of the state is opened up by establishing a deep seaport but circumstances could not make it a reality but we are convinced that someone who was not only part of the dream but also from that terrain would prioritise this idea capable of turning around the fortune of the people and the state in general “, Ojo added.
The political leader therefore pleaded with other aspirants to team up with Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa to emerge not only as the candidate of the All Progressives Congress but also come out victorious in the governoship election slated for November this year.
