
300 BENEFIT AS O’DATIWA FREE MEDICAL OUTREACH KICKS OFF IN IFEDORE LGA
…As traditional authorities commend Governor Aiyedatiwa for ensuring access to Free Health Care Services and Health Insurance
The Special Adviser to the Governor on Health Matters, Prof. Simidele Odimayo formally Flagged Off the O’datiwa Free Rural Medical Outreach earlier today at The Palace of Olowena of Owena to provide health care services, free testing, drugs and health insurance for The Aged and Vulnerables at rural communities.
Speaking at the event, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Women Affairs, Dr. Seun Osamaye, revealed that about 300 elderly persons, including vulnerable and physically challenged individuals, have already benefited from the initiative.
She expressed happiness at the level of excitement of Ifedore people.
The DG, Ondo State Contributory Health Commission, Dr Oyeneyin Said ‘Residents will be able to access the health insurance services at local health centres in the community or through referrals to the General Hospital in Igbara-Oke.
The three-day “Odatiwa Free Medical Outreach” featured free blood pressure and blood sugar level checks, doctor consultations, and the distribution of free medication.
At the Event were The Permanent Secretaries Ministry Of Health, Dr Ikuomola ably represented by PS, HMB, Dr Adiji and Women Affairs, Mrs Odushola ably represented by Mr Oyegunwa.
Others present Were Directors from Women Affairs and Ministry of Health, Doctors, Nurses, and other Medical and health Personnel!
