The Christ Like Assembly Church today hosted a commemorative event marking the 6th anniversary of the transition to glory of Bishop Joshua Omotayo Ketiku, alongside the official opening of the BJOK Pentiel House.
Engr. (Dr.) Johnson Alabi, Special Adviser on Power to the Governor of Ondo State, represented His Excellency, Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, at the occasion.
Also in attendance was Former Governor of Ondo State, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, among other dignitaries, church members, and guests.
In his address, Governor Aiyedatiwa, through his representative, paid glowing tribute to the late Bishop, describing him as a man of honesty and great integrity.
He acknowledged the Bishop’s impactful legacy within the Christian community and encouraged his wife to remain steadfast and even intensify her efforts in continuing his good works.
The Governor further prayed that the Christ Like Assembly would continue to stand as a beacon of hope and light to the body of Christ and the wider society.
The event was marked by heartfelt tributes, prayers, and thanksgiving, in honor of the life and ministry of Bishop Ketiku.
