FUTA Alumni Honour One Of their Own, Special Adviser to Governor on Gender In Ondo State, Olamide Falana

Members of the Federal University of Technology, FUTA Alumni Association Worldwide, Ondo State Branch on Friday, March 11th, 2022 showered encomium on one of their own, Hon. Olamide Falana, Special Adviser to Ondo State Governor on Gender, the first ever to occupy such a position in Ondo State.
The team led by the immediate past National president Alumni representative in council, Comrade Olaitan Adesomoju and the Futa Ondo Branch Chairman, Dr Duromola while thanking Mr. Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu for being gender sensitive and for appointing one of their own into its cabinet said they have no doubt, that she will deliver on set goals.
Comrade Adesomoju who said FUTA Alumni Association is very proud of Hon. Falana and have come to share in her joy said whatever she attains still comes back to FUTA and the alumni association.
He added she has broken the glass ceiling and will remain a role model for other women as the first Special Adviser to Governor on Gender.
In his charge however, Comrade Adesomoju said Gender Office is a very strategic one that must also place premium on men and seek ways to incorporate them into their activities.
In her response, Hon. Falana thanked the leadership of FUTA Alumni Association for the honour, saying it was indeed a pleasant surprise.
Hon. Falana while also noting that she holds FUTA dear for providing her the platform to learn her first political lessons said what she has attained today were formed during those budding years.
She also used the opportunity to thank members of the executive for deeming it fit to honour her, saying it is a great honour coming from her constituency just as she assured them that she will continue to support them in all ways she could.
