The Owa of Idanre Kingdom and Paramount ruler of Idanre Land, His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Dr) Frederick Adegunle Aroloye, Arubiefin IV (JP) OFR, has commended the member representing Idanre/Ifedore Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Tajudeen Adeyemi Adefisoye, popularly known as ‘Small Alhaji’ for the siting of the Federal College of Forestry in Idanre, Ondo State.
According to a statement signed by Ganiyu Agbelusi on behalf of Idanre Media Service, the traditional authority specifically emphasized the efforts of the legislator who sponsored the bill that led to the siting of the College in the ancient town.
Oba Aroloye who said the result was a product of his political dexterity, diplomacy and steadfastness in ensuring that he adds value to the area emphasized that the eventual take-off of the project would affect socio-economic and political existence of the area positively.
The traditional ruler who noted the efforts of all Makanres toward having an institution of higher learning in Idanre Land expressed happiness at the development and assured that enabling environment would be created by the hosts when the process of putting in place physical structures commences.
While noting that it had been a dream of the legislator to attract such tertiary institution to the area, Oba Aroloye congratulated Hon. Adefisoye on making the dream a reality and called on all relevant stakeholders to cooperate with the visitors when the project eventually takes off.
Oba Aroloye also congratulated all Idanre sons and daughters at home and in diaspora on the approval of the institution stressing that the development would attract a lot of benefits for all Makanres as a result of siting the institution in Idanre.
