The Delta State University Don, Professor Ovaborhene kidnapped ten days ago is dead.
There are indications that the lecturer died after the the ransom of three million naira was paid for his release.
The remains of Idamoyibo, the Head of Music Department at DELSU were found by relatives who went to pick him up after the ransom payment
It will be recalled that Prof. Ovaborhene Idamoyibo was kidnapped by gunmen at Eku junction in Ethiope-East Local Government Area of Delta State on April 9.
As at the time of filing this report, the Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe had yet to respond to messages sent to him for confirmation.
Report says the kidnappers earlier demanded a fifty million naira ransom from his wife but sources claimed the sum of three million was eventually paid to his abductors.
