For an average young man in Nigeria, he is interested in what he could either contribute to the society or benefit from the system.
For this young man called Dele Philips from Aramoko-Ekiti in Ekiti West Local Government Area of Ekiti State, he has always been willing to play a great role in the development of both individuals, families as well as the communities.

All his life, Dele Phillips, the head of Deephill Investments had always wanted to be a successful man, more reason he works round the clock to ensure that he meets his targeted goals with investment in several sectors of the economy.
Dele Phillips holds a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from University of Ado Ekiti and also obtained a Diploma in Hospitality and Property Management in the United Kingdom.
As the CEO Deephill Investments, he has has over 15 years experience in marketing, hospitality and property management both in the United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates and Nigeria
With his determination to contribute to immediate and remote environment, Dele Philips passed through a great degree of tutelage in many organisations and eventually tapped into his academic background to influence the business environment, not only in Nigeria but also in many countries outside Nigeria.
One of his exploits is the successful completion of 9th Avenue Hotels and the successful stories of Phillips Property as well as Phillips Exchange in Dubai to mention a few.
Providence was fair to him as all he sowed with tears is currently reaping bountifully with smiles on his face.
The urbane businessman succeeded in completing a 5-star resort called SHORES HOTEL and RESORT in Lekki area of Lagos.
The gigantic project sits on four hectares of land and boasts of restaurants, gyms, artificial lakes, an Olympic size swimming pool and a cinema.
The 80-room resort is situated beside the Free Trade zone complex, Lekki, Lagos.
The resort is a a classic all-stop complex, especially for the busy Dangote refinery and Free Trade zone workers as well as the numerous high-end visitors who will be falling in to do business in the area.
Shores Hotel and resort Lekki is a member of Deephill Investments, Shores Hotel, 9th Avenue Hotels, Phillips Property and Phillips Exchange in Dubai promoted by city big boy, Dele Phillips.
In the process of this, the Aramoko-Ekiti-born international business mogul established Dele Philips Foundation which has played significant roles in the socio-economic and political development of his area.
In Ekiti Central Federal Constituency 2 where he hails from, he had created a degree of trust between his personality and the people of his area.
Ekiti Central Federal Constituency 2 comprises Ekiti West, Efon and Ijero local government areas.
With the existence of Dele Phillips Foundation, three women were drawn from the thirty-three wards the constituency and were empowered to improve on their businesses.
Similarly, a good number of primary and secondary school pupils and students are being sponsored by Dele Phillips Foundation.
In terms of community development, the bridge linking Ogunwa and Oroke in Ido-Ile in Ekiti West Local Government Area which had been bad for about four years was reconstructed by the foundation.
At the party level, a building was purchased in Efon Alaaye and reconstructed as Mr. Dele Philips ensured that it was tastefully furnished as the party secretariat.
The party secretariats in Ekiti West local government area with headquarters at Aramoko-Ekiti and that of Ijero local government area were also rehabilitated and tastefully furnished by this man many of the party leaders are promoting to represent the people of Ekiti Central Federal Constituency 2.
And at the state level, a bus was donated to the party to assist in mobilisation of party followers across the State.
With the little he has been able to attract to his area, the party leaders and community leaders are clamouring for his candidacy as their representative at the National Assembly come 2023.
Even before the decision to contest election, he had always been part of his people’s opinion and aspirations as palliative items had been distributed to the people of the area while provision of free fuel was carried out in support of the candidate of the APC, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji in the forthcoming governorship election in Ekiti State.
And as the Chairman of BAO Campaign Committee in Ekiti West local government area, he has Inaugurated the Committee with a charge to members to play significant roles in ensuring that the people of Ekiti State and precisely Ekiti West local government area vote massively for the former Secretary to State Government and Chief of Staff to Governor as well as Commissioner at various times.
And in pursuit of his ambition to represent the people of Ekiti West, Efon and Ijero local government areas, he had been meeting with delegates in the areas and they have always shown a degree of commitment to his aspiration.
He was always received by community leaders as well as party leaders and members of the communities who had benefitted from various gestures of Dele Phillips Foundation.
In all, various groups have been calling on delegates from Ekiti West, Efon and Ijero local government areas to consider Mr. Dele Philips for the ticket of the party in the forthcoming primary election of the party.
Dele Philips remains the most qualified for the Ekiti Central Federal Constituency 2 seat at the National Assembly.
