The Chairman of Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji Campaign Committee in Ekiti West local government area, Mr. Dele Philips has charged party faithful in the area to come out enmasse to welcome the campaign trail of the governoship candidate of the party for the rally slated for Aramoko-Ekiti.
The party chieftain who was a leading aspirant for the Ekiti Central Federal Constituency 2 seat in the All Progressives Congress (APC) charged both leaders and followers to sustain and improve their degree of mobilisation for the party as the June 18 date approaches.
Mr. Dele Philips said all the required processes being put in place to win more supporters to the party ahead of the election has started yielding positive results.
According to a statement by one of his media aides, Leye Olaoluwa shortly after a meeting with some party leaders in Ado-Ekiti, Mr. Dele Philips emphasized that emergence of Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji would attract socio-economic and political development to the local government area while the entire state would be better for it.
He stressed that the experience garnered by the candidate as member of the state executive council, Chief of Staff to Governor and Secretary to the State Government are enough yardstick to conclude that he would make a people’s governor.
In his words, “we have to prioritize the BAO project as a way to guarantee continuity of the developmental strides being recorded by Dr. Kayode Fayemi. Having Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji as the next Governor of our dear state would lead to more unusual road projects like that of New Iyin Road as well as agricultural revolution projects like the Ikun Dairy project which has attracted national recognition”.
The international business mogul therefore challenged the people of Ekiti West local government area and the state at large to pitch their tent with Biodun Oyebanji for a sustained and improved development of the State.
