Justice William Olamide of the Ondo State High court sitting in Akure has three of the killers of the killers of Mrs Olufunke Olakunrin, daughter of Afenifere Leader, Pa Reuben Fasoranti to death.
One of them was discharged.
Mrs. Olakunrin was killed on July 12 2019 in an attack on Ore-Ijebu-Ode expressway.
The suspects, muhammed Shehu, Adamu Adamu, mazaje Lawal and àwàlù abubakar stood trial on nine- count including the murder of the deceased.
During the trial which lasted for about two years, the prosecution, led by the attorney general and commissioner for jusirce, Charles Titiloye called nine prosecution witnesses to prove that the suspects were responsible for the death of Mrs Olakunrin
The prosecution also tendered the autopsy report which revealed that the deceased died of excess blood loss from gunshot and ammunitions allegedly recovered from the them and their statement of offence.
Counsel in the case had on March 30th adopted their final written addresses.
