Family, friends, colleagues as well as well-wishers have eulogised a prominent son of Ado-Ekiti the Ekiti State capital, Dr. Afolabi Ajayi on the occasion of his birthday.
Dr. Afolabi Ajayi popularly called ‘Jahsbe’ by his admirers is the Director of Information and Communication Technology in the Office of the Accountant-General of the Federation.
He is also a son of the foremost educationist and public administrator, Chief Alex Olu Ajayi who is also the Odoba of Ado-Ekiti, Opo-Akin of Ile-Ife and Obaseeki of Owo.
According to the various congratulatory messages, friends described Dr. Afolabi Ajayi as a well groomed public servant who has always justified the confidence the government and his people repose in him.
According to a childhood friend and Master Mariner, Capt Kunle Layiwola, the celebrant remains one of the greatest prides of Ekiti State as well as the nation, considering his numerous contributions to administrative processes and societal development.
Similarly, his elder brother, Deji Ajayi said the celebrant has been a good ambassador of the Ajayi Dynasty and prayed for long life and good health as Afolabi Ajayi continues to play his part in the nation’s administration.
Messages on the Facebook wall of his Alma Mater, Christ’s School, Ado-Ekiti shows that the celebrant is not only cherished by classmates but also other alumni.
“Happy birthday Afolabi Jahsbe Ajayi an alumnus, member 75/80, Dallimore, class S, a Federal Civil Servant working in the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation as Director-ICT. and a native of Ado-Ekiti”, the message reads.
“As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so shall God surround and protect you. As your days are, so shall your strength be. wishing you all the best now and ever”, the message states further.
In his congratulatory message, a cousin and a media practitioner, Mr. Seun Adetola said ‘Jahsbe’ remains a mentor, a teacher and a pride that should always be celebrated, either birthday or not.
Adetola therefore prayed for more God’s guidance and protection as the federal public servant forges ahead in achieving both official and domestic tasks.
