FORMER MINISTER OF JUSTICE, ADETOKUNBO KAYODE(SAN) PAYS CONDOLENCE VISIT TO GOVERNOR AIYEDATIWA
***Prays that God grants Akeredolu’s immediate family and the people the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss
A former Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Prince Adetokunbo Kayode(SAN) has paid a condolence visit to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa as he also commiserated with the people of Ondo State on the demise of late Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu.
Prince Kayode who spoke with newsmen shortly after signing the condolence register at the Government House in Akure the state capital on Saturday said the late Governor stood for justice, equity and fairness.
“Our former Governor spent his life defending the masses and ensured that his impact was felt both in governance and professional conducts”.
“As a legal icon and former President of the Nigerian Bar Association, he created platforms for young practitioners to grow and also ensured that professionalism was made a priority”, Kayode said.
“He created avenues to protect his people as the Chief Security Officer of the state when the peace of the state and southwest was threatened and his efforts led to the establishment of the Southwest Security Network otherwise known as Amotekun Corps”.
The former Minster of Culture, Tourism and National Orientation prayed that God grants late Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu’s immediate family and the people of the state the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss
Prince Kayode who also served as Minister of Defence charged Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa to put in place all required strategies to ensure that he continues from where the late Governor stopped.
