EFCC OPERATIVE COMMITS SUICIDE IN PERSONAL APARTMENT
An operative of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC has taken his own life at his residence in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
Sources close to the Commission who said the incident occurred on monday said the deceased was a member of Course 5 before his death and described him as a diligent, efficient, and an unassuming operative.
The Commission is exploring possible factors, including mental health and family challenges that may have contributed to the Operative’s depression and tragic decision.
When contacted on the incident, the EFCC’s spokesperson, Dele Oyewale said investigation is underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the suicide decision of the Officer.
