O’DATIWA WOMEN LEADERS STRATEGISE TOWARDS PRODUCTIVE ELECTIONEERING CAMPAIGN
Members of the O’Datiwa Women Leaders in Ondo State have continued to strategise towards a productive campaign for the election of the candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the forthcoming governorship election.
The meeting convened by the Special Adviser to Governor on Gender Matters, Chief(Mrs) Olamide Falana was held in Akure with a focus on involving all relevant women groups in the task of ensuring victory for the party and precisely Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
Special Adviser to Governor on Gender Matters, Chief(Mrs) Olamide Falana appreciated the governor for involving women in running the affairs of the state and assured that women groups are determined to play their part in ensuring success of the administration.
While emphasising that women were appointed into the transition committees, Falana stated that structures are being put in place to play significant roles in the forthcoming electioneering campaign for the election of the governor.
Falana stressed the need for all members of the O’Datiwa Women Leaders in the 18 local government areas to go back to their various wards to continue to spread the message of good governance by the present administration.
Those who spoke at the meeting including the Vice Chairman of Igba Otun LCDA, Hon. Busola Adewole and Vice Chairman of Akoko North East local government Transition Committee, Alhaja Shade Gold appreciated Governor Aiyedatiwa for the high level of trust in women and assured that they would justify the confidence reposed in them.
Similarly, others who include Olori Oyinkansola Aroloye and Hon. Aanuoluwa Obebe said they are prepared for the forthcoming electioneering campaign as well as the November 16 poll.
