’98 SET OF NAZARETH HIGH SCHOOL ALUMNI FELICITATE ONIMEKO, OBA BENJAMIN OLANITE ON 10TH CORONATION ANNIVERSARY
More encomiums have continued to pour in as the Onimeko of Imeko Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Benjamin Alabi Olanite, Akanku IV on the 10th anniversary of ascending the throne of his forefathers.
Various congratulatory messages have continued to celebrate the personality of the royal father who his people said has played significant roles in developing the town.
The latest is the one made public by the 1998 set of Nazareth High School Old Students Association (NAHSOSA).
According to a statement signed by the Acting President of the Set, Mr. Reuben Olaleye, the traditional authority has been a rallying point for socio-cultural, economic and political development of Imeko Kingdom.
In his words, ”Oba Benjamin Alabi Olanite is not just a traditional ruler, he is a reference point in the efforts at ensuring overall development of our community.”
”As our senior in Nazareth High School, Imeko, he had shown a high degree of leadership as a student and we are not surprised that he is today one of the most revered traditional authority in Nigeria,” Olaleye added.
He expressed the hope that the set would initiate a programme that would also compliment the efforts of the Onimeko and other committed individuals towards taking the ancient town to greater heights.
The celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Onimeko is expected to hold on Saturday September 14th 2024.
