DON’T FUEL CRISIS IN EKITI STATE, ALLIED PEOPLE’S MOVEMENT WARNS ISAAC FAYOSE
One of the Leading opposition Political parties in Ekiti state, Allied People’s Movement (APM) has warned one Mr Isaac Fayose to stop forthwith his unguarded utterances that can creat unnecessary tension in the state.
In a statement made available to newsmen in Ado Ekiti by the Party’s Publicity Secretary and signed by it’s state Chairman, Hon (Deacon) Joseph Anifowose states that Mr Isaac Fayose can not stay outside the shores of Ekiti State and be throwing missiles to the government and the people thereby planning to create unwarranted crisis to disrupt the peaceful attomosphere by calling for a protest under any disguise.
The statement reads, “we have watched with keen interested the utterances of an individual whom we know to be a People’s Democratic Party (PDP) member one Mr Isaac Fayose in a recent personal Video been circulated on social media calling for an unwarranted protest tagged “O to gee”.
He cited the current deplorable conditions of Federal Roads in Ekiti state as the reason behind his move.
“It should be noted that, we as opposition political party in the state has taken notes of these issues and due processes are been followed with the relevant state holders at all levels to address and get the roads fixed at the shortest possible time. As a result of the moves, the Federal Government of Nigeria has awarded good numbers of these roads for total reconstruction and dualisation while some are already strongly marked to undergo rehabilitation”.
“However, we have instructed and directed our members across the state not to join any body or group of people for any form of unlawful gatherings and protest which cannot yield any positive dividends.”
“The government of His Excellency, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji is doing his best to deliver the much expected dividends of democracy to the good people of Ekiti state and every right thinking individuals of Ekiti origin and residents must support him to achieve success irrespective of political affiliations.”
