JOINT NATIONAL PUBLIC SERVICE NEGOTIATING COUNCIL ELECTS NEW OFFICERS
…Officers elected at Trade Union Side exercise include Comrade Benjamin Anthony as National Chairman and Gbenga Olowoyo as National Secretary
The election of new officers has taken place at its National Executive Council (NEC)meeting of the Joint National Public Service Negotiating Council (JNPSNC) Trade Union Side
held on 3rd December, 2024 at the Medical and Health Workers Union of Nigeria, National secretariat, Abuja, FCT.
The officials elected to run the affairs of the council for the next two years are:
Comrade Benjamin Anthony, National Chairman, Comrade Shehu Mohammed, Vice Chairman, Comrade Olowoyo Gbenga, National Secretary, Comrade Auwalu Yusuf kiyawa,National Assistant Secretary and Comrade Roselyn Uba-Anaran, National Treasurer.
The three ex-officio members from the under listed unions shall be provided to promote spirit of inclusivity:
a, NUPPPROW
b, NANNM
c, AGRIC UNION
This was contained in a letter addressed to the office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation duly signed by both the National Chairman Comrade Benjamin Anthony and the National Secretary Comrade Olowoyo Gbenga
The letter “‘appreciates the exalted office of Head of Civil service of the Federation, for the subsisting mutually beneficial relations between the Government side of the JNPSNC and the Trade Union Side and wishes it continues in order to engender robust and abundant welfare packages for workers in the area of career progression and better living conditions.”
