EKITI TRADERS CONDEMN GOVERNMENT TAX REGIME (Watch Video)
Traders in Ekiti State have carried out a peaceful protest over what they described as killing tax regime in the state.
The traders were sighted on major streets of Ado-Ekiti the state capital on Wednesday to condemn what they call governance without human face.
They carried various placards to display their view and called on Governor Biodun Oyebanji to intervene towards making life bearable for traders.
According to the Mrs. Dupe Ojo said ho spoke on behalf of the protesters to newsmen, they have always appreciated Governor Biodun Oyebanji and they are prepared to vote for him for another term.
Mrs. Ojo wondered why there is no consideration in billing as most people with little goods and wares are compelled to pay exorbitantly.
She expressed worries that the tax regime may make them change their mind.
