As part of his commitment to grassroots governance and community development, the Chairman of Ose Local Government, Hon. Barr. Clement Kolapo Ojo, has visited communities affected by a recent rainstorm to assess the level of damage and provide necessary support.
Hon. Ojo visited Oriohin, Omialafa, and Elegbeka, where he sympathized with residents and assured them of the local government’s intervention to mitigate the impact of the disaster.
During his visit, he also inspected two Nigerian Army checkpoints along the Ifon-Omolege road, commending the military officers for their dedication to securing the area. He pledged the local government’s support to enhance their operations.
In Elegbeka, the chairman announced plans to grade the Elegbeka-Arajoomoeye-Ute road, a move aimed at improving transportation and ensuring the seamless movement of farm produce from rural areas to markets.
Additionally, he visited the Elegbeka Basic Health Center to inspect its facilities, reaffirming the local government’s commitment to improving healthcare services for residents.
Members of the community expressed their appreciation for the chairman’s proactive engagement, noting that in the history of Ose Local Government, no chairman had ever visited them in their respective domains. They commended Hon. Ojo’s dedication to inclusive governance and his hands-on leadership style.
Since assuming office on February 18, 2025, shortly after his inauguration, Hon. Barr. Clement Kolapo Ojo has consistently prioritized inspections and on-site assessments, ensuring that governance remains directly connected to the needs of the people. His approach underscores his unwavering commitment to infrastructure development, security, and overall community welfare within Ose Local Government Area.
