
MOKWA TRAGEDY: ‘THE NIGERIAN PROJECT’ COMMISERATES WITH FAMILIES’ VICTIMS, NIGER STATE GOVERNMENT
The Nigerian Project has commiserated with the people and government of Niger State over the flood that led to death of over 200 people.
In a statement personally signed by the National Convener of the movement, Ochiagha Reagan Ufomba and made available to newsmen, the group expressed shock on what it described as monumental loss.
In his words, “we are deeply saddened by the devastating flood in Mokwa which has, so far, claimed countless lives”.
“We therefore extend our heartfelt condolences to members of TNP, Niger State chapter, the government, and people of Niger State”.
“This tragedy which has claimed lives and displaced many, is a painful reminder of our shared vulnerability”.
“We stand with you in grief and solidarity, and call for urgent relief efforts and lasting solutions”.
“May the souls of the departed rest in peace, and may healing come swiftly to all affected”, Ochiagha Reagan Ufomba added.
