
FEDERATED CHAPEL @ 10: TOPSHOTNEWS PUBLISHER, NGOZI ADULOJU BAGS NUJ’S MEDIA ROLE MODEL AWARD
A media entrepreneur and the immediate past Asst. State Secretary of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), Mrs. Ngozi Aduloju, the publisher of Topshotnews Magazine on Sunday, July 22nd bagged NUJ’s Media Role Model Award.
The award which is in recognition of her outstanding leadership in the media space was presented as part of Federated Chapel’s “Decade of Excellence”, celebrating members significant contributions to journalism practice in the state as well as leadership role excellence.
Reacting to the honour, Aduloju described the award as humbling and inspiring, noting that it will further strengthen her resolve to remain committed to truth, professionalism, and responsible journalism.
She also commended the leadership of the chapel for their consistency in promoting excellence within the profession just as she reaffirmed commitment to amplifying voices, advocating for good governance, and upholding the ethics of journalism in Nigeria and across the African continent.
The NUJ Federated Chapel’s event, which brought together stakeholders from various sectors, also featured awards to other media professionals.
Other highlights include presentation of a lecture titled: “Good Governance; A Pathway to Development in Nigeria’ by Prof. Sola Fayose as well as special honour for Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, the Chief Press Secretary to Ondo State Govenor as Patron of the Chapel, Dr. Mrs. Lola Oshin among others who have made significant impacts in public service over the last ten years.
