
JOHNSON ALABI PLEDGES EFFICIENT SERVICE DELIVERY AS AIYEDATIWA SWEARS IN 16 COMMISSIONERS
…Governor reaffirms commitment to integrity, excellence in governance
Newly inaugurated Commissioner, Engr. Johnson Alabi, has described his appointment as a call to greater responsibility, pledging unwavering commitment to the people of Ondo State.
Alabi, who was among the 16 commissioners sworn in by Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa on Monday, assured that his service would be driven by integrity, accountability, and collaboration.
Speaking shortly after the oath-taking ceremony held at The Dome, Akure, Engr. Alabi thanked the Governor for the trust reposed in him and other appointees.
He described the appointment not as a reward, but as a mandate to deliver meaningful impact across critical areas
“This honour is a call to greater duty and higher responsibility. I will do more to justify this gesture wherever I am designated to add value”.
He also noted that service to the state remains his top priority and promised to contribute meaningfully to the administration’s developmental goals.
Earlier in his remarks, Governor Aiyedatiwa reiterated his administration’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and people-centered service delivery.
He urged the newly inaugurated commissioners to hit the ground running, emphasizing that the people of Ondo State expect nothing short of excellence from their leaders.
He described the inauguration as a significant milestone in the journey toward building a greater Ondo State, adding that his administration’s deliberate and measured approach to governance reflects a belief in sustainable progress over hasty decisions.
Engr. Alabi later hosted guests at a grand reception where friends, families and associates joined in merriment.
