
A ROYAL ODYSSEY:FELIX ALE PAYS TRIBUTE TO OLUBAKA ON OKA DAY 2025
A Communication Scholar and Director, Media and Corporate communications of the National Space Research and Development Agency of Nigeria, Dr Felix Ale has congratulated the Olubaka,Oba(Dr) Yusuf Adebori Adeleye,OON on the occasion of the 2025 edition of Oka Day celebration coming up on Saturday 2nd August,2025.
In a Press Statement in Abuja,Dr Ale who described the Olubaka as a true custodian of heritage and harbinger of hope said the royal father has redefined tradition with dynamism and a touch of visionary leadership.
He said since ascending the throne, His Royal Majesty,Oba(Dr) Adebori Adeleye has walked with wisdom and ruled with grace.
The Oka Akoko born communication expert opined that Olubaka historic moment on the throne thus far has been marked by a remarkable transformation across the kingdom, particularly from the strengthening of community institutions to the promotion of cultural identity as well as encouraging peace among all quarters to attracting development through dialogue and diplomacy.
Dr Ale maintained that the Olubaka’s reign is a testimony to leadership steeped in integrity,humility and devotion to the wellbeing of his people.
He said,with uncommon grace and intellect honed by education and experience,Oba Adeleye has stood as a bridge between the past and the future, ensuring that the flame of tradition burns brightly even as modernity touches every household.
Dr Ale emphasized that under the guidance of Olubaka, Oka Akoko has become a model of unity,a citadel of communal pride and a rallying point for indigenes across Nigeria and in the diaspora.
He appreciated the Oka monarch on his decision to confer the posthumous Okarufe Golden Merit Award on late Pa Isreal Olukoju,an elder statesman and an illustrious son of Oka Akoko whose legacy had shaped the community for decades.
Dr Ale described Olubaka’s thoughtful gesture as highly commendable, saying the noble decision will no doubt inspire young and old alike to remember that true leadership is measured not by titles but by integrity and lasting impact.
The Media icon also rise in tribute and admiration for the Royal Matriarch,Olori Adejumoke Adeleye whose grace and strength according to him continue to support the throne in quite power and royal dignity.
He appreciated the esteemed council of chiefs, popularly known as Oka-Oba in council whose loyalty and wisdom bolster the kingdom’s foundation.
Dr Ale also extends his tribute to every son and daughter of Oka-Akoko for their passion and unyielding love for home.
He said, as the drums beat and the people dance,as old friends reunite and new dreams are born on this special Oka Day, the great Oka indigenes must remember at all times that our strength lies in our unity.
According to him,the true greatness of Oka Akoko will continue to unfold when hands join together in service, when we speak with one voice and invest in growth spiritually,economically and communally.
Dr Ale therefore wish the good people of Oka-Akoko many more years of glorious gatherings, bountiful blessings and a kingdom that rises ever higher.
