KAYODE OJO APPRECIATES SUPPORTERS, EXPRESSES HOPE OF PARTICIPATING IN PRIMARY ELECTION
Engr. Kayode Ojo, a prominent contender for the 2026 governorship election in Ekiti State has expressed appreciation to Ekiti people and his teaming supporters for turning out enmass for his home coming and official declaration for the governorship contest.
Responding to the news of his disqualification by the National Working Committee (NWC) of APC, Engr. Kayode Ojo said in as much as he recognizes and respects the NWC, he however enjoined his supporters not to be discouraged or demoralized, assuring that he is still in the race to contest the primary election on October 27, 2025.
In his words, “Ekiti Kete and my teaming supporters across the globe, I am overwhelmed by the turn out during my home-coming on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at our great party secretariat, Ado Ekiti”.
“I wish to state that I am still in the race and will definitely contest the primary elections”.
According to a statement made public by his media team, Kayode Ojo enjoined his supporters to continue to fly the APC flag high and support Mr President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda which he has keyed into with the rescue mission in Ekiti State.
