EKITI 2026: PARTY LEADER REKINDLES KAYODE OJO’S LOYALISTS HOPE
“…Ekiti people now anticipate the next destination of a new beginning of true democracy which is Engineer Kayode Ojo”
A leader of the All Progressives Congress in Ekiti State and staunch supporter of the Governorship hopeful, Engineer Kayode Ojo has rekindled the hope of Ikoro-Ekiti-born’s loyalists ahead of the 2026 governorship poll.
In his piece titled, “The Re-Emergence Of Engineer Kayode Ojo”, the leader, Ilesanmi Oguntuase encouraged the loyalists that there are brighter days ahead.
He said the events being witnessed have given hope that the road to success is being cleared of obstacles.
According to Oguntuase, opinion polls conducted from various sectors including the public service, youth organisations and others have shown that “joy is coming”.
“As the clock ticks and Ekiti people await verdicts, ruminating on what the future holds regarding Ekiti 2026, it’s crystal clear that the citizenry is moving past the age long governance of deception, the skimming off of our sumptuous federal allocations and lack of probity in government. Ekiti people now anticipate breathing fresh air and are clear about the next destination of a new beginning of true democracy which is Engineer Kayode Ojo”.
“Despite calls by well-meaning Nigerians on the dilapidation that has bereaved Ekiti State’s financial system, education, infrastructures to mention but a few, some so called loyalists still believe that the land of honour should keep going down the drain since their own gluttonous and arbitrary share of the state’s wealth is guaranteed, forgetting that a bad penny always comes back and they will have their share of the repercussions too whether they like it or not”.
“Here’s the good news. Ekiti people have found the one, Engineer Kayode Olubunmi Ojo, in whom they feel secured”.
“An opinion poll on the choice of the next governor Ekiti State across the state even within civil service favours the emergence of Engineer Kayode Olubunmi Ojo as the next governor of Ekiti State”.
“This is because they have weighed and can tell the difference between kegs of both water and palm oil”.
“For clarity sake, this isn’t an invitation for debate on any ignoble and prejudiced disqualification of candidates neither is it a reminder that perpetrators of unjust disqualification of candidates leading to kangaroo primary election will soon be brought to book”.
“The yearnings of the good people of Ekiti State to have a new, honest and sympathetic leader in Engineer Kayode Ojo is a cry and supplication in the ears of God Almighty and He will surely answer”.
“It’s becoming clearer that he who breaks the edge, serpent will bite: so no sinner will go unpunished”.
“This is a beckon of hope that joy is coming to all who desire to see a new and revitalized Ekiti by the hand of our own one and only Engineer Kayode Ojo”.
“It’s time for every EKO gospeller to rekindle their fire to the tell the good news to everyone”.
“Let it be known to all that EKO has ticked all the boxes as far as the forthcoming gubernatorial election is concerned”.
“EKO’s acceptance by the good people of Ekiti is undeniable except by some elements who rejoice at the present shipwreck of our dear state just to satisfy their own selfish interest”.
“Wait and be steadfast, EKO will surely come back.
Though it tarries, it will surely come, for it will not tarry”.
“It’s a beckon of hope”, he added.
