THE TIME TO TELL PEOPLE ABOUT GOVERNOR AIYEDATIWA’S MONUMENTAL PROJECTS ACROSS ONDO STATE IS NOW
By Allen Sowore, Esq
There is no doubt that Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa is a silent achiever and an unassuming leader. However, the time has come to fully inform the good people of Ondo State about the monumental projects currently underway under his administration. This is especially necessary as mischief makers and destructive critics remain active in the state.
As these projects continue to take shape across various communities, I was joined by the Senior Special Assistant on Community Engagement (Central Senatorial District), Hon. Femi Fadairo, and the Special Assistant on Inter-Party Affairs, Fade Ojamomi, on an inspection tour of ongoing road projects in Ondo Central.
Many of these projects are already at advanced stages of completion and are visibly transforming the landscape.
Before embarking on the inspection, we paid a working visit to the indefatigable Commissioner for Infrastructure, Land & Housing, Engr. Ayorinde Abiola Olawoye. Upon being briefed about our mission, he personally presented me with a safety helmet and boots, underscoring the professionalism and safety standards guiding the ongoing projects.
We began our inspection at the 8.4km Akure–Ijare Road, where concrete drainage works on both sides have reached impressive mileage.
Other projects inspected include the nearly completed flyover bridge across the Ilesha–Benin–Owo Expressway & the junction improvement works at Onyearugbulem Junction in Akure, the reconstructed NEPA Roundabout, the Igbatoro/Federal Secretariat Road, and the 6.5km Imafon Road.
