AIYEDATIWA’S AIDE, ALEX GBOLOGE URGES COLLABORATION WITH GOVERNMENT TOWARDS FACILITATING DEVELOPMENT
…As He Visits Traditional Rulers In Irele LGA
As part of the ongoing Community Engagement Tour to all Traditional rulers youth and women groups in Ondo South Senatorial District, Hon. Gbologe Alex ( Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on community Engagement South ) met with the Obas in Irele Local Government Area to deepen collaboration between the traditional institution and the state Government.
The engagement focused on strengthening grassroots communication, building effective feedback channels, and supporting Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa’s Our Ease Agenda.
Hon. Gbologe emphasized that the Governor cannot be physically present in every community at all times, and even the Commissioner who supervises a mandate office cannot cover all locations simultaneously.
For this reason, the administration has built a strong communication and representation structure to ensure the Office of Community Engagement remains closely connected with all communities.
Through this structure, the government receives timely, firsthand information that helps shape interventions tailored to real-time community needs.
He further noted that Governor Aiyedatiwa places high value on steady, honest, and community-driven feedback.
Such feedback, he explained, is essential to improving government programs, accelerating development, and advancing the goals of the Our Ease Agenda, which prioritizes easier access to services and improved living conditions for citizens.
The Obas of Irele Local Government expressed appreciation for the Governor’s inclusive style of leadership.
They commended Hon. Gbologe for his dedication and noted that his approach to engagement is the first of its kind in the area.
The traditional rulers also reaffirmed their commitment to supporting the administration’s development efforts.
The visit further strengthened the relationship between the government and traditional institutions and the vital role traditional rulers play in the progress and stability of their communities.
