MRS KEMI IYANTAN MOURNS LATE HUSBAND’S FATHER, PA THOMPSON OLAJIDE IYANTAN
…Pa Iyantan is the Father Of Late Former Deputy Governor Of Ondo State During Adefarati Administration
The wife of former Deputy Governor of Ondo State and current Federal Commissioner of the National Population Commission in Ondo State, Her Excellency, Honourable Mrs Kemi Afolabi – Iyantan has joined the good people of Ode Aye Community, Okitipupa Local Government,and particularly the Iyantan family in mourning the passing of High Chief Thompson Olajide Iyantan,the Konye of Ode Aye.
Mrs Iyantan thanked God for the eventful and impactful life of the deceased, saying the late Chief Thompson Olajide Iyantan was not only a custodian of tradition but also a great politician and community leader whose wisdom and service contributed immensely to the development of Ode Aye, Okitipupa Local Government and Ondo State at large.
She recalled with gratitude the supportive roles and invaluable counsel the deseaced offered to his late son, Barrister Afolabi Iyantan during his tenure as Deputy Governor of Ondo State.
Those words of wisdom and fatherly guidance according to her made a significant difference and remain etched in the annuals of their political history.
Mrs Iyantan maintained that, Pa Iyantan’s demise is a personal loss to her as wife to late son of the deceased and to the entire Iyantan family.
The Federal Commissioner of the National Population Commission while wishing the deseaced eternal rest also prayed God to grant the family, the people of Ode Aye and all who mourn him the fortitude to bear the painful loss.
