The Senior Legislative Aide to the Senate Leader, Mr Bunmi Oguntuase, has distributed food items to party faithful and residents across Ado-Ekiti as part of efforts to share the joy of the festive season with people at the grassroots.
The distribution exercise, which held at the Government Reserved Area (GRA), Ado-Ekiti, saw beneficiaries drawn from the 7 wards in ado constituency 1 in Ado-Ekiti Local Government Area.
Items shared during the outreach included packaged bags of rice and garri, aimed at cushioning the economic effects of the season and putting smiles on the faces of the beneficiaries.
Speaking during the event, some of the recipients expressed appreciation to Oguntuase for what they described as his consistent empowerment initiatives and accessibility to the people, noting that his interventions had continued to positively impact lives within the constituency.
In his remarks, Oguntuase said the initiative was in-line with the people-oriented leadership style of the Senate Leader, Senator Opeyemi Bamidele, whom he serves as Senior Legislative Aide.
He also commended the Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji, for his collaboration with the federal lawmakers, describing the synergy between the state and federal governments as instrumental to the ongoing development at the grassroots.
Oguntuase assured constituents of sustained engagement and continued support, stressing that the welfare of the people remained a top priority.
