FRIENDS AND ASSOCIATES CELEBRATE EKITI-BORN ENTREPRENEUR DELE PHILIPS
Friends, political associates as well as kinsmen are celebrating Ekiti State All Progressives Congress(APC) leader, Dele Philips on the occasion of his birthday.
Dele Phillips who is a business mogul with operational bases within and outside Nigeria was a House of Representatives aspirant in Ekiti Central Federal Constituency 2 in the last general elections.
Friends and associates who include a political leader from the constituency, Aare Ebenezer Adebusuyi Adebusuyi said Mr. Dele Philips has continued to play significant roles in uniting members of the party in the area.
In his words, “Dele Philips has continued to impart positively on the lives of the people of the area just as the political class as well as school children were not left out.”
Adebusuyi who is also the Director of Administration of Dele Philips Foundation stressed that close to 100 market women were empowered just as school children were placed on scholarship in Efon, Ijero and Ekiti West local government areas.
Similarly, his media aide, Seun Adetola described the celebrant as an apolitical politician who places the unity of party leaders as well as peaceful co-existence in Ekiti State above personal ambition.
He emphasized that Dele Philips had proven that politics which is about serving the people should not be a do or die affair, reflecting on the various issues surrounding the primary election into the House of Representatives in Ekiti Central Federal Constituency 2 held in Aramoko-Ekiti during the last electioneering process.
Also in a post on social media, another political associate, Mr. Olaleye Olaoluwa said the contributions of Aramoko-Ekiti-born business mogul to the various successes recorded in the APC in the last general elections as well as the governorship election would continue to be a reference point.
In another post, an administrative staff of Dele Philips Foundation, Mr Idowu Phillips said “we are confident that Dele Philips’ contributions to both political and societal development would be recognised by government at various levels, stating the number of unemployed youths that are off the street through his real estate establishments in the country”.
In the same vein, Hon.Tope Sanya, the
National Organising Secretary for CAGraM, (Consolidated Apc Grassroots Movement) described Dele Philips as a pride not only to Ekiti state but also the Nigerian business community.
In his words, “wonderful happy birthday to an enigmatic personality. Your great endeavours cut across the political and business climate”.
“You have shone bright like the superstar. May this day bring you immense Joy and Blessings..Amen”
Though no special events have been announced for the birthday celebration, naijaparrots.com gathered that friends and staff of GOZA Lagos, a nite club on Victoria Island, Lagos and Shores Hotels and Lounge, Lekki, Lagos owned by the celebrant are planning to celebrate their Chairman whose passion for youth engagement and development had been a great encouragement for all.
