FIRST OTAKIKPO MIDSTREAM LIMITED CELEBRATES WORKERS ON MAY DAY
The management of First Otakikpo Midstream Limited (FOML) has joined its workforce in commemorating this year’s Workers’ Day, recognizing their invaluable contributions to the company’s growth and success.
This year’s celebration is themed: “Striving for Peace and Stability to Drive Industrialisation, Trade, and Decent Work for Social Justice.”
First Otakikpo Midstream Limited operates a 12-million standard cubic feet per day (mmscfd) modular LPG extraction plant, located in Ikuru town Andoni Local Government Area of Rivers State, South-South Nigeria.
The company noted that the theme resonates strongly with its operations, particularly in promoting industrial growth, energy security, and improved livelihoods within its host communities.
In a message shared via the company’s official social media platforms, the Managing Director, Barrister Segun Ilori, credited the company’s impressive performance in the oil and gas sector to the dedication of Management and commitment of its workforce.
He noted that the staff’s loyalty and drive have played a critical role in key achievements, including the reduction of gas flaring, and increased LPG production,
Ilori further highlighted that although the project is valued at $60 million, its successes would not have been possible without the active contributions of the workers, whom he described as vital stakeholders.
He congratulated all employees on the occasion of Workers’ Day and reaffirmed management’s commitment to strengthening operational systems and support structures to enable even greater accomplishments in line with national aspirations for peace, industrialisation, and social justice.
