GREEN ENERGY INT’L LTD MANAGEMENT ACKNOWLEDGES WORKERS’ ROLES AS MAY DAY CELEBRATED
The Management of Green Energy International Limited has acknowledged the roles of members of Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria(PENGASSAN) in the company as workers globally commemorate May Day Celebrations.
In a statement made public on the X handle of the company, the management felicitated both working with the company as well as the oil and gas industry globally in living up to the expectations of both the company and Nigerian government in general.
The Chairman, Pastor(Prof) Anthony Adegbulugbe said various accomplishments recorded since the inception of the company had been made possible as a result of the commitment, dedication and loyalty displayed by the workers.
In his words, “Green Energy International Limited has been able to record a feat to build the first ever Indigenous Onshore Crude Oil Terminal in Nigeria after fifty years of relying on the ones built by multinationals because the workers, both on the field and administration show a high degree of commitment to service delivery”.
“We are celebrating our workers today because they have been great encouragement and contributors to the successes we have been recording”.
Prof Adegbulugbe assured that Green Energy International Limited would continue to create an enabling environment for the workers to keep playing their part in realising the vision and mission of the company, Nigerian Government as well as the nation at large.
The Chairman added that the company is keying into the theme of this year’s celebrations which is aimed at “Promoting Decent Work, Rights, and Dignity for All Workers”, alongside a strong emphasis on “ensuring safety and health at work in a changing climate”.
