ADELEGBE CELEBRATES PRIMARY VICTORY, CALLS FOR PARTY UNITY AND MASSIVE SUPPORT FOR PRESIDENT TINUBU
My dear people of Owo/Ose Federal Constituency,
With a heart full of gratitude to Almighty God, I sincerely thank every leader, stakeholder, party faithful, youth, women, and the good people of our Federal Constituency for the overwhelming support and confidence you reposed in me during the just-concluded All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Representatives primary election, which produced me as the party’s flagbearer for the forthcoming general election.
This victory is not mine alone; it is a victory for every loyal member of our great party and every constituent who believes in our shared vision of purposeful leadership, quality representation, and sustainable development. Today is therefore a day of celebration—not because one individual has won—but because democracy has prevailed, our party has emerged stronger, and the collective aspiration of our people has been reaffirmed.
From time immemorial, the people of Owo/Ose have stood firmly by me. Your unwavering support, encouragement, and prayers have been the driving force behind every milestone we have achieved together. I do not take this uncommon show of love and confidence for granted. Rather, I accept this mandate with deep humility and a renewed sense of responsibility.
As we celebrate this victory, I urge everyone to remember that elections within a political party are not battles to divide us but democratic processes designed to strengthen us. The primary election has come and gone; now is the time to close ranks, heal every perceived grievance, and move forward together with one purpose. Our greatest task now is to deliver a resounding victory for our great party in the forthcoming general election.
I reaffirm my unwavering commitment to providing effective, responsive, and people-oriented representation. By the grace of God, I will continue to dedicate every fibre of my being to advancing the welfare of our people through impactful legislation, effective oversight, and constituency projects that will improve lives across Owo/Ose Federal Constituency.
As we rejoice today, let us also celebrate the enduring spirit of unity that defines the APC. Victory is sweeter when it is shared, and I therefore dedicate this success to every party member who worked tirelessly, prayed fervently, and believed in our collective cause. This celebration belongs to every ward, every polling unit, every volunteer, and every supporter who stood with us throughout this journey.
I express my profound appreciation to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and National Leader of our great party, His Excellency, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, whose exemplary leadership, commitment to fairness, equity, and internal democracy continue to strengthen our party and inspire confidence in our democratic process.
My sincere appreciation also goes to the National Chairman of our great party, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, for his exceptional leadership and unwavering commitment to building a stronger, more united, and more progressive APC across the nation.
I equally express heartfelt gratitude to the Honourable Minister of Interior, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, for his remarkable leadership ingenuity, the wise counsel, and steadfast commitment towards peace, unity, and cohesive force within our party in Ondo State. His timely interventions and dedication has really been significant and salvaged the party and to a large extent contributed to the success of this democratic exercise.
To my fellow aspirants, I salute your courage and maturity, ensuring our democracy is sustained. You are not my opponents but my brothers and partners in the progress of our Federal Constituency. I extend my hand of fellowship and invite every one of you to join me as we work together to achieve victory for our great party. There is a big room for everyone in the task of building a better future for our people in Owo and Ose as well as our Sunshine state.
I also call on all party leaders, stakeholders, members, and our teeming supporters to remain steadfast in their support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda. I am confident that the administration will continue to implement policies that promote national development, economic prosperity, security, and lasting peace across Nigeria.
As we begin the next phase of this journey, let us remain united. Let us reject division, embrace reconciliation, and strengthen the bond that has made our party the preferred choice of the people. Our unity is our greatest strength, and together we shall secure an overwhelming victory at the polls.
Once again, I thank you all for your trust, prayers, sacrifices, and steadfast support. I celebrate this victory with every son and daughter of Owo/Ose Federal Constituency, and I assure you that the best is yet to come.
