OPARHA CHIEFTAIN OWOOLA DARAMOLA HOSTS ADO-EKITI WARD 4 RESIDENTS, MOBILISES GRASSROOTS SUPPORT AHEAD ELECTION
A Chieftain of the Oluyede Progressives Alliance for Renewal Hope Agenda (OPARHA), Hon. Daramola on Monday hosted residents, landlords, community leaders, and youths of Ward 4, Ado-Ekiti for a sensitization and grassroots mobilization meeting ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The meeting which held at his residence was aimed at strengthening grassroots awareness, deepening community engagement and mobilizing support for the Renewal Hope Agenda being championed by OPARHA.
In attendance were representatives of landlords’ associations, community leaders, youth leaders from Ajilosun and other concerned residents of the ward.
Participants engaged in discussions on voter education, grassroots participation, community development and strategies for expanding the OPARHA membership base across Ward 4.
Addressing the gathering, Hon. Daramola urged residents to take ownership of the Renewal Hope Agenda and become active participants in the political process ahead of the 2027 elections.
He said “We cannot afford to be spectators in 2027. This is the time to organize, sensitize, and mobilize. OPARHA represents the Renewal Hope Agenda for our people, and it starts right here in Ward 4, Ajilosun. I charge every one of you to be prepared, get your PVCs ready, and take this message of progress from house to house. The future we want will not fall from heaven; we must work for it.”
Hon. Daramola further emphasized that OPARHA was established to promote good governance, inclusiveness, accountability, and people-centered development, stressing that meaningful political transformation must begin from the grassroots.
He called on residents of Ward 4 to remain actively involved in community affairs and to lead by example in promoting peaceful, responsible, and constructive political participation.
Community leaders and Ajilosun youths at the meeting expressed their support for the OPARHA vision and pledged to intensify grassroots sensitization and mobilization across the ward.
The meeting concluded with prayers and the inauguration of the Ward 4 Community Mobilization Team, marking another step in OPARHA’s ongoing grassroots engagement and organizational expansion ahead of the 2027 general elections.
