AAUA ALUMNI SUPPORT PROCUREMENT OF FURNITURE ITEMS FOR INSTITUTION’S BUSINESS SCHOOL IN AKURE
***The gesture was a unanimous decision by members of the Master’s Degree Class to contribute to the University’s provision of qualitative education in the country
Members of the 2022/2023 set of Master’s Degree Class in Public Administration of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko has donated furniture items in support of the AAUA Business School in Akure.
The gesture was borne out of their desire to acknowledge the contributions of their lecturers and the roles being played by the institution towards provision of qualitative education.
Presenting the donation on behalf of the set, Prince Akeem Momoh and Engr. Busuyi Olowolayemo said it was a unanimous decision to emphasize the place of the university in building future leaders.
The team was received by the Vice Chancellor, Professor Olugbenga Ige in company of management staff who included Deputy Vice Chancellor (Administration), Professor C.A. Daramola and Deputy Vice Chancellor, Professor(Academics), Professor Felix Akinwunmi.
Responding, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Olugbenga Ige appreciated the gesture and assured that the university would sustain the level of academic records being set in the country.
The Vice Chancellor commended the lecturers for justifying the confidence reposed in them and promised to continue to create conducive environment for them to operate.
In an interview, the Director of the Institute of Part-time Programme programme of the university, Prof. Bayo Fasuwon described the set as a unique one.
He said the management has always created a conducive environment for the lecturers, imploring students to continue to be law abiding.
Similarly, the Class Governor, Pastor Babatunde Owa commended all members for their cooperation towards achieving the target.
Owa also appreciated the university authority for creating a platform for robust academic exercise.
Other members of the 2022/2023 set in attendance included Mr. Steve Omoeko, Mr. Olaniyi Olukayode.
