
ADEDIPE, OMOREGIE FAMILIES HOLD 7TH DAY REMEMBRANCE IN HONOUR OF LATE OLORI ELEMO, ADETUTU ADEDIPE

The Adedipe Dynasty and Omoreighe Family of Akure the Ondo State Capital have held a 7th day remembrance in honour of Late Olori Elemo of Akure, Olori Adenike Adetutu Adedipe.
The event spearheaded by an illustrious daughter of the Adedipe Dynasty and former Special Adviser to Ondo Governor on Public and Intergovernmental Relations, Dr. Olubunmi Ademosu-Williams was presided over by the Elemo of Akure, Senior High Chief Segun Adedipe.
The late Olori Adenike Adetutu Adedipe was one of the Oloris of their late Patriarch, High Chief Bolanle Adedipe.
In line with tradition, the families of that of her parents and the late husband came together to host family and friends I honour of the departed who many described as a rallying point for the Oloris in the family.
The event attracted top government functionaries as well as political leaders while various socio-cultural organisations and charity organisations including Lions Club International were not left out.
Those in attendance include Chief Ileowo Adedipe the Adaja of Oba-Ile, Chief Sehinde Awopetu, the Onisinkin of Ilemo, Chief Aruwajoye Adedipe the Akuajo of Ilemo as well as one-time Regent Bisoye Adedipe of Ilemo Quarters.
Similarly, Sanya Adedipe, Kunle Adedipe and many other prominent friends and family members were not left out.
Representatives of the political class who include former Commissioners Saka Yusuf-Ogunleye, Arch Jide Adejuyigbe, Gbenga Olaniyi, a leader of the All Progressives Congress, Festus Aregbesola, former member of the state house of assembly, Honourable Tayo Abidakun were also part of the gathering.
Others are retired Permanent Secretary, Mike Osodi and current Permanent Secretary in the office of Public and Intergovernmental Relations, Mrs. Yemi Pirisola.
Representatives of Lions Club as well as the socio-cultural organisation, Ajapada were also in attendance.
There was much to eat and drink as family members took to the dance floor to celebrate a life well lived.
Speaking with newsmen, Senior High Chief Segun Adedipe the Elemo of Akure land described the late Olori Adenike Adetutu Adedipe as a yardstick to measure humility and caring heart.
Similarly, a prominent daughter of the family, Dr.(Mrs) Olubunmi Ademosu-Williams made reference to cordial relationship that existed between the late Olori and others, noting that she spent her life serving humanity.
