ADEGOROYE HAILS AKEREDOLU’S APPOINTMENT AS SOUTHWEST CAMPAIGN COORDINATOR FOR TINUBU

The Minister of State for Transportation, Prince Ademola Adegoroye has commended the appointment of Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN as the Zonal Coordinator of the Tinubu-Shettima Presidential Campaign Council in the Southwest.
Akeredolu’s appointment was conveyed in a letter addressed to him and personally signed by the Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, on Monday.
Reacting to the development, Adegoroye said with the appointment of Governor Akeredolu, who is also the Chairman, Southwest Governors’ Forum, victory for the APC in the zone in the 2023 general elections is assured.
According to a statement signed by his Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, The Minister thanked Asiwaju Tinubu for the confidence reposed in the Governor to lead the campaign in the region and expressed optimism that Arakunrin Akeredolu will lead a worthwhile campaign and deliver victory for the party in 2023.
“His doggedness, tenacity of purpose, honesty, determination and penchant for ensuring that he succeeds in whatever responsibility is entrusted to him, as well as the robust and strong leadership he has given to Ondo State and southern Nigeria, particularly the Southwest, are some of the qualities that have earned him this strategic position.
“What he has achieved in politics and governance in Nigeria in just over ten years of his involvement in active politics is highly impressive. It’s therefore not a surprise to me that this sensitive and huge responsibility has been bestowed on his broad shoulders by Asiwaju. I am more than convinced that Mr. Governor is up to the task.
“While congratulating Arakunrin on this appointment, I urge all the leaders and members of our party in the zone to support him for us to achieve the much needed victory for our presidential candidate.
“Mr. Governor, I pray that the Almighty God will guide and guard you through this duty”, Adegoroye said.
