ADEPOJU BAGS DISTINGUISHED GOVTECH TRAILBLAZER’S AWARD
The Bureau of Public Service Reforms of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has bestowed on the Director General, National Space Research and Development Agency,(NASRDA) Dr. Matthew Olumide Adepoju a distinguished Govtech Trailblazer’s Award.
The prestigious award was conferred on the NASRDA Boss at the 2025 Nigeria Govtech Gala and Awards night at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa in Abuja in recognition of his good leadership and enviable track record of achievements since assumption of office.
Dr. Adepoju was represented at the historic occasion by the Director, Media and Corporate Communication of the Agency, Dr Felix Ale.
The occasion also witnessed the declaration of the National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA) under the leadership of Dr. Matthew Adepoju as the *BEST FEDERAL MDA IN DIGITAL GOVERNANCE* with a special corporate award in profound appreciation of the historic achievements of the Agency.
It was indeed a glorious moment for the Agency at the very unique national event as the current inspiring atmosphere and commitment to excellence on the part of the current leadership of the Space Agency were acknowledged and applauded.
According to a statement signed by
Joy Opaluwa of the
Media and Corporate Communications Department of the Agency,
the ceremony was witnessed by dignitaries from far and near including representative of the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Kashim Shettima, Executive Governor of Jigawa State, Malam Umar Namadi, Wife of the Governor of Adamawa State, Hajiya Lami Fintiri and the Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology, Mrs Esuabana Nko Asanye.
Mrs Asanye during a Press interview at the occasion congratulated the NASRDA boss and described the award as well deserved.
She noted with delight the commendable efforts by the Space Agency, particularly in recent time and urged its current management not to relent.
