AGBOOLA AJAYI MOURNS FORMER GUBER CANDIDATE BAMIDELE AKINGBOYE
I received the news of the passing away of one of us , Otunba Bamidele Akingboye with a terrible rude shock .
It Is a death that no one ever envisaged for him at this critical period of our political life in Ondo State and Nigeria at large .
Otunba Bamidele Akingboye, a native of Igodan-Lisa in Okitipupa Local Government , a shrewd business man , philanthropist and a consummate politician was the flag bearer of the Social Democratic Party ( SDP) in the last Governorship election
Of our State.
He has lofty ideas and ever ready to contribute to the development of Ondo State in all sphere until this untimely death put paid to his dream of having a true Ondo State that cares for all.
Otunba’s passing away at this time is a massive loss not only to his immediate family and political associates but to Ondo State people as a whole .
Untill his death , he remained a politician with a great conviction on his ideas and view points on how to move the state forward.
A philanthropist per excellence who was always willing to reach out to the less privileged in the society.
On behalf of myself , my immediate family members and other political associates , I pray that the good Lord comforts his family and pour a soothing balm to heal up their traumatized hearts at the moment .
May the soul of the departed continue to REST IN PEACE.
