AHEAD 2027 GENERAL ELECTION: IRELE YOUTHS DECLARE SUPPORT FOR HON. BIDEMI OBAYANGBAN “OC GENERAL‘
As the 2027 general election draws near, political alignment and realignment have begun to take the centre stage as people especially youths from different parts of the sunshine state are now pitching their tents with leaders and candidates of their choice.
The recent development was witnessed in Irele local government area where the Representative of the Irele youths in the Ondo State Youth Parliament, Hon. Adewale Adefua, (LALIGA) convened a meeting to drum support for Hon. Bidemi Obayangban as the preferred candidate to represent the Irele / Okitipupa federal constituency in the House of Representatives.
Hon. Adefua who applauded numerous strides of Hon. Obayangban to make life more worth living for people of the federal constituency described him as a grassroots politician and mobilizer with passion for the welfare of residents.
The ward 4 APC Youth leader in the council area, Hon. Ajibade Omogunoye who hails from the same ward with the current House of Rep member, while speaking at the meeting said youths of the area decided to support the candidature of Hon. Obayangban due to his humility, passion and commitment to a better federal constituency and the state at large.
According to him, Hon. Obayangban has impacted the constituency and its people positively while complimenting the “Our Ease” agenda of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
Also speaking, the leader of the Irele legislative council, Sunday Omojunwa, assured people of the area of the determination of Hon. Obayangban to make positive difference and better representation if given the opportunity to serve.
The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Aiyedatiwa on Community Engagement, Hon. Gbologe Alex who expressed confidence that Hon. Obayangban will not disappoint the people, drummed more support for his emergence.
Hon. Gbologe Alex stressed the need for youths across the senatorial district to eschew violence and promote peaceful coexistence at all times.
