Ondo State Deputy Governor, Hon Lucky Aiyedatiwa has charged new set of N-power beneficiaries in the state to be passionate, and diligent in their new assignment.
The Deputy Governor also enjoined them to see their new beginning as part of their journey of life.
Aiyedatiwa was speaking at the deployment and physical verification of N-POWER Batch C, Stream 2 beneficiaries at YESSO Office, Governor’s office, Alagbaka Akure on Monday.
“Life is a journey. it is not how you start that matters, it is how you are going to end life journey” The starting point might be very, very rough, just like some of us have a very rough beginning” , he said.
Speaking further to the happy beneficiaries, Aiyedatiwa said, “this is not the end point, it is just the beginning, because training for winning, makes you rugged” .
The deputy governor stressed further that they should not despise the little beginning as it would go a long way to support them at the level.
“So, enjoy what you are doing, put in all your best like Ilaje born Orimisan Igbayisemore who was once like you, but today, he is an ‘Ambassador’ known all over the country because of the creativity he put in as N-POWER beneficiary”, he added.
In the same vein, Special Adviser to Governor on Public and Inter-Governmental Relations, Mrs Olubunmi Ademosu called on the beneficiaries to cultivate emotional disposition as well as acquisition of more knowledge in their primary assignments, charging them to be worthy Ambassadors.
Ademosu emphasized that all the required structures and processes that would ensure successful participation have been put in place while government is also working with all relevant agencies for impactful programme.
