AIYEDATIWA TO INAUGURATE COUNCIL OBAS, SWEAR IN OLOWO, OBA AJIBADE OGUNOYE AS CHAIRMAN
The Governor of Ondo State, Dr Lucky Aiyedatiwa will on Tuesday inaugurate the State Council of Obas as the Olowo of Owo , His Imperial Majesty, Oba( Dr) Ajibade Gbadegeshin Ogunoye III will be sworn in as Chairman.
A Statement signed by the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Mr Oladele Adesanmi said the programme which would hold on Tuesday at the International Culture and event center (The dome) will afford Traditional Rulers in the state, the opportunity to interact and rub minds with the Governor, as salient issues bothering on the well-being of the State will be discussed.
Adesanmi appealed to all Obas in the state, on Grade A, B and C to make it a date with the Governor.
Reiterating the commitment of the government to continued recognition and enhancement of the position of traditional rulers in the state, Adesanmi thanked the traditional authorities for always being supportive.
